GB bolts, nuts, flat washers and spring washers are widely used combination parts. Correct matching and installation improve connection strength and service life. Here are relevant rules and notes.
Match parts with the same size. M6 bolts shall be used with M6 nuts and matching washers. Flat washers protect workpiece surface, while spring washers provide anti-loose effect.
Standard sequence: Bolt → Workpiece → Flat washer → Spring washer → Nut. This is the universal assembly standard for machinery and construction projects.
Clean burrs and dirt on threads before assembly. Tighten manually first, then use tools with proper force. Excessive force will cause fracture and deformation, while insufficient force leads to loose connection.
Spring washers are not suitable for high temperature and strong corrosion environments. Do not reuse deformed or damaged fasteners. For equipment with severe vibration, additional anti-loose solutions are required.
